Toolkwip Pumps are dedicated to providing Australia’s quarry, mining, construction and industrial sectors with tailored pumping solutions. For over 25 years, we’ve been providing Australia’s industries with the products and services that best fit their needs. If you need pumps to handle corrosive substances, we carry a diverse selection of magnetic drive centrifugal pumps from leading brands.

What are Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps?

A magnetic drive centrifugal pump or magnetic drive chemical pump is unlike a traditional centrifugal pump, as it replaces the direct drive mechanism with a magnetic field. This enables it to be used for pumping corrosive or hazardous chemicals, since no metal components are present to make contact with the chemicals.

What are their benefits?

Magnetic Drive centrifugal pumps are capable of pumping a wide range of chemicals and other corrosive liquids. Since there are no mechanical seals and no metal parts come in contact with the liquid mag-drives reduce the risk of fluid and vapour emission leakage, lessening the exposure of humans and animals to hazardous, corrosive and flammable liquids. With minimised risk of leaks, your project also benefits from minimal loss or waste of expensive chemicals.

  • Reliable
  • No shaft seal = no leaks
  • Flows from 3 to 4650 litres per minute
  • Capable of heads up to 100 metres

End Suction Pumps

End suction mag-drive pumps are ideal for chemical transfer. With no mechanical seal, they require less maintenance and are safer than traditional pumps. We import, supply, customise and repair TOTTON, SETHCO and MAGNATEX mag drive pumps.

Our TOTTON mag-drive pumps are available in single and multi-stage models with motor sizes ranging from 4KW to 60KW. Our SETHCO pumps are available in polypropylene and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) casing. They all have stainless steel external hardware and have O-ring options of Teflon, Viton and EPDM. As for our pumps from MAGNATEX, they are all designed to provide high efficiency with lower horsepower requirements.

Self Priming Pumps

Self priming mag-drive pumps are recommended for chemical transfers with suction lifts. We carry a large range of SETHCO pumps and provide full custom builds and repairs. Our range of SETHCO pumps has a priming chamber with a built-in removable basket strainer. Their self-priming capacity is up to 6 metres and they also have a run-dry ability after its initial prime. Similar to the end suction pumps, they have a PVDF and polypropylene casing and they also have an all stainless steel external hardware.

You can trust that any item we carry and recommend meets your field’s requirements. View our products today and contact us for custom pumping solutions.

As professional magnetic drive pump suppliers, we only supply pumps from Australia’s preferred industrial pump manufacturers. We also supply spare parts for our pumps such as poly pipes, hoses, valves and more. Call us to find the best pump that meets your industry’s standards.
